The Satyagraha Pen
The Satyagraha Pen is a special edition created in partnership with a cherished client and friend of Onoto. Based on our classic Magna Blue model, it features symbolic details inspired by the ideas of truth, focus, and inner strength.
The name Satyagraha comes from Sanskrit and means “truth-force” — the quiet power of staying true to one’s beliefs.
The cap top, band, and clip are all made from solid sterling silver, giving the pen a sense of ceremony and presence. At the top is the Trishula, a three-pointed trident linked with Shiva, a major figure in Hindu tradition. It represents cutting through illusion and balancing creation, protection, and change.
On the cap is the ॐ (Om) symbol — a sacred sound said to reflect the vibration of life itself.
The word Satyagraha is also engraved on the silver band in Sanskrit script. Along the barrel, a line of diyas (traditional oil lamps) adds a gentle reminder of wisdom, prayer, and light.
