The Sovereign 1776 Pen – Blue Edition
On 4 July 2026, the United States of America marks the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
To commemorate this historic milestone, we present The Sovereign 1776 Pens. Available in two pearlescent finishes inspired by the two prominent colours representing the United Sates of America: Red and Blue.
Around the silver tassie it features the traditional motto in Latin “E Pluribus Unum” (Out of Many, One) and 13 stars, reflecting the formation of a single, unified nation from the originally distinct 13 colonies and federal states.
The clip is an artistic expression of the lever action of a firearm, commemorating the “great gunshot” opening gunfire of the Battles of Lexington and Concord on April 19, 1775. It was remembered as “shot heard round the world” in Ralph Waldo Emerson’s 1837 poem, Concord Hymn. The single star on the top of the clip concludes the historic transition, symbolising the thirteen original states united as one unified nation.
The silver cap band is engraved with the opening words of the United States Constitution, “We the People”, alongside “1776–2026”. The lettering is executed in the original font of the Declaration of Independence.
The barrel features the names of the original thirteen states amongst 13 stripes. At the end of the barrel, the inscription “Philadelphia, July 1776” marks the city and moment where the Declaration of Independence was adopted.
The Sovereign 1776 Pens are available in a limited edition of 250 pieces in each colour.
Also available: The Sovereign 1776 Pen – Red Edition.
