The 303 Squadron Legacy Pen – Camouflage Edition

A tribute to 303 Squadron and the Polish airmen who fought in the Battle of Britain.

In the summer of 1940, Polish airmen who had already fought for their homeland and in France took to the skies over southern England. Flying with the RAF as 303 Squadron, they quickly demonstrated extraordinary skill, determination and courage.

Flying the Hawker Hurricane, 303 Squadron became one of the most effective fighter squadrons of the Battle of Britain, helping defend Britain at a moment when the outcome of the war remained uncertain. They fought not only for Britain, but for the Poland they had been forced to leave behind.

Yet their story did not end with victory. In 1946, the Polish squadrons were excluded from the main London Victory Parade. While Britain celebrated the end of the war, these airmen were left on the margins, their homeland now behind the Iron Curtain.

The 303 Squadron Legacy Pen is a small act of remembrance for these remarkable men and their contribution.

Crafted in camouflage acrylic with refined metal fittings, the pen pays tribute to the Hawker Hurricane flown by 303 Squadron during the Battle of Britain. The propeller-style clip is hand engraved with “303”, commemorating the squadron at the heart of its story. Each pen is accompanied by a carefully prepared record of the pilots who flew with 303 Squadron during the Battle of Britain.

Limited to 16 pieces worldwide, representing the 16 aircraft that reflected the operational strength of a fighter squadron.
