The 17 February 2026 marks the beginning of the Year of the Horse. To welcome the Lunar New Year, we present this limited edition celebrating the spirit, movement and vitality long associated with the horse.
Created to mark the Year of the Horse, the Flying Horse Pen is crafted in a refined chestnut-brown acrylic, its surface enriched by a subtle pearlescent glow that gently shifts under changing light. The material brings depth and warmth to the form, offering a restrained elegance rather than overt ornamentation.
The cap band is engraved with Onoto’s traditional zodiac symbols Fu (福), Lu (禄) and Shou (寿), representing fortune, prosperity and longevity. The silver cap button features a flying horse motif, subtly inspired by ancient Chinese bronze sculpture, introducing a quiet reference to movement and freedom without dominating the overall design.
