Crafted from highly polished navy blue acrylic, this exquisite pen embodies literary elegance and timeless craftsmanship, making it a fitting homage to Austen’s enduring legacy.
The cap features a finely detailed silhouette of Jane Austen, adorned with intricate floral and vine motifs, and surrounded by an engraving of Pride and Prejudice’s iconic opening lines in Austen’s own handwriting. The barrel continues the delicate floral and vine design, all intricately engraved using a technique inspired by stipple engraving and hand-gilded in gold, creating a striking contrast against the deep navy blue.

The Jane Austen First Impressions Pen is based on the shape and style of the 1937 Onoto Magna and features the iconic two thin and one broad cap bands of their famous predecessor. The clip features the Onoto logo and the distinctive ‘chevron’ pattern that has been used on many Onoto cap clips since 1905.
